Moody Ales are one of our longest standing customers: it’s a partnership that’s grown as their business has matured, and their range of beers have expanded.
When their tasting room started to gain a big reputation in Port Moody BC, they wanted to experiment with a packaged product without taking on a huge amount of investment and risk.
We started off by providing them with a flexible end-to-end service that managed the ordering and processing of shrink sleeved cans, as well as the fills on-site through our mobile canning service.
This way, they could stay in control of the size and scale of the orders they were making, until they better understood what the demand might look like, without committing to massive minimum orders.
Unsurprisingly, Moody Ales' beers took off like wildfire, and they’ve never looked back. These days, the demand has allowed them to bring their canning in-house using their own line and fully-trained staff.
That hasn’t meant the end of our relationship, however. As volumes increase, we continue to supply them with blank cans on the regular and have also stepped up our role in the design space to complement what they can do in-house. We have collaborated on a number of limited edition beers, working from initial concept, through design to production.
We’ve loved seeing these guys grow and have been privileged to be a part of their success. Here’s to many more cans off the line!
